The mission of the Institute for Innovation and Sustainability is improving the lives and well-being of people around the world through enhanced innovation and sustainability.  The Institute is dedicated to accelerating a clean energy future, increasing environmental, economic and social equity, improving the health and well-being of people globally and raising people out of poverty.  The Institute will realize its mission by expanding education, awareness, investment and activities to accelerate the innovation economy and build a more sustainable economy.

SEPTEMBER 2017 ENERGY STORAGE & MICROGRID CONFERENCE

On September 11, 2017, the Institute, in partnership with the Northeast Electrochemical Energy Storage Cluster and ACTION, the Association of Cleantech Incubators of New England, held a very successful full day conference on Energy Storage and Microgrids.  With 200 attendees, and 25 speakers along with sponsors and exhibitors, the conference was extremely well received.  The Institute would like to thanks all of the organizers and participants for making the conference such a success and we look forward to an expanded conference in 2018.
